Katy has recently donned blue armor during her performances. However, she opted for an elegant two-piece outfit to meet Fumio Kishida, aged 68 — who served as Prime Minister from 2021 to 2024 — and his wife, Yuko, aged 61.
Fumio shared on social media: “Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch.”
Trudeau reshared the photo, saying: “Katy and I were delighted to have the opportunity to sit down with you and Yuko.”
One user on X commented: “Katy Perry engaging in international diplomacy. Did not expect this on my top risks for 2025 list!”
In June, it was reported that her previous relationship had ended after nearly a decade, during which she had a daughter named Daisy, who is five.
Weeks later, they were seen dining together in Montreal, although their relationship wasn't confirmed until October when they were spotted together publicly.
Later that same month, they were seen together again after he flew in to celebrate her birthday.
