Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has sanctioned a cabinet reshuffle that includes changes to commissioners and the appointment of two special advisers.
The Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohamed, disclosed this information in a statement on Friday.
Mohamed mentioned that the reshuffle, which takes effect immediately, aims to realign the administration for enhanced service delivery and optimal performance across vital sectors.
“Adnan Nahabu has been appointed as the Commissioner for Higher, Vocational, and Technical Education, while Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Bakori transitions from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to lead the newly established Ministry of Livestock Development.
“Yusuf Suleiman Jibia will assume the role of Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, and Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur has been designated as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development.
“Additionally, Governor Radda has appointed Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua as Special Adviser on Nutrition and Welfare Services, and Isa Muhammad Musa as Special Adviser on Cultural Orientation,” the statement partially read.
The governor urged all appointees to stay dedicated to the vision of his administration’s Building Your Future agenda and to prioritize service to the citizens of Katsina State.
He expressed confidence that the reshuffle would enhance coordination, deepen sectoral expertise, and expedite the delivery of essential programs across education, health, agriculture, youth development, women empowerment, and social welfare.
