The show followed the star’s day-to-day life but mum was notably absent after she was reportedly banned from filming any scenes for the series.

However, dad Peter made many appearances as did her brother, Junior.

Now, Princess has given a fresh update on the show, titled The Princess Diaries, after it was revealed it would be returning for a second series following impressive ratings.

The star has revealed that filming is all wrapped with her last day on-set being yesterday.

She shared a snap of the series’ clapper board as well as a behind-the-scenes picture of her filming her confessional scenes for the programme.

Princess added the caption: “Last day of filming.”

The series is expected to be back on-screens in the spring time.

Her update comes after in which they outlined their plans to no longer speak negatively about each other on social media.

Peter and Katie drew up a legal agreement in which the pair vowed to stop badmouthing one another after a string of bitter public spats – a rare truce for the often-warring exes.

The Sun was told has spent months refusing to agree to desperate attempts to make peace.
