KATIE Price has taken a savage swipe at her exes and claimed bad relationships are the reason she has so much surgery.

The 48-year-old is of course no stranger to going under the knife, having had countless surgeries on her boobs, body and face over the last three decades.

Appearing on the new series of ’s , former glamour mode mused on the meaning behind her constant need to change her appearance.

She said: “I’ve realised there’s a reason I do it all and it is to do with men.”

Olivia, 35, asked: “Do you think that’s because you were in bad relationships with men who put you down? You’ve constantly been trying to validate yourself.

Katie replied: “Always.

“It’s got to be that. I always said I don’t have body dysmorphia, for years, because I didn’t think I did. But I’ve realised I do, because I look in the mirror and I don’t like what I see.”

Almost as infamous as her obsession with surgery is Katie’s chaotic love life and her exes include the likes of , Alex Reid, Leandro Penna, and JJ Slater.

During the episode Katie also left Olivia speechless when she revealed how much she thinks she’s spent on cosmetic treatments over the years.

Olivia said to her: “Obviously you have had a lot of free surgery but you have paid for some as well.

“Over the years, would you say it has been a mix of offered free stuff and things that have been paid?”

Katie replied: “I’ve probably paid £40,000 in all – for surgery.”

A stunned Olivia said: “What, in all – is that it?”

Katie added: “For 30 years, everyone has been, you don’t need this, you don’t need that but if I want to do it, I am doing it anyway.”
