The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has declared that it has finalized all essential arrangements to conduct bye-elections in the Kofar Mazugal and Matan Fada Wards, situated in Dala and Ghari Local Government Areas, respectively.
The Commission stated that the election is necessary due to the passing of the two councilors who represented these wards.
KANSIEC announced that the bye-elections are scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, and will be carried out in accordance with the Electoral Act 2022 and the amended 1999 Constitution.
