The upcoming film “Midnight Sun”; has unveiled new posters ahead of its premiere!
A Korean remake of the 2007 Japanese film of the same name, “Midnight Sun”; is a music film that follows Mi Sol (Jung Zi So) and Min Joon (Cha Hak Yeon), who can only meet at midnight. As they connect through music, they fall in love and work together to pursue their dreams.
The two newly released posters highlight different emotional tones. One features a collage of scenes from the filmâMi Sol singing while playing the guitar, Min Joon smiling brightly, and the couple embracingâall of which convey the film’s warm and emotional aesthetic. The caption,“When the sun sets, I’ll come find you,”;hints at the poignant relationship between Mi Sol and Min Joon, who can only go on dates at night because Mi Sol has XP syndrome and cannot go outside during the day.
The second poster, set against a beach backdrop, captures a romantic duet between the two leads. Singing together and smiling at each other under the night sky, Mi Sol and Min Joon radiate warmth and chemistry. Paired with the line“I want to see you every night,”;the poster promises a tender love story and heightens anticipation for the film’s release.
“Midnight Sun”; is set to hit theaters in South Korea on May 28.
