Jung In Sun has shared her thoughts on her upcoming drama “Our Golden Days”;!
“Our Golden Days”; is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone has their own golden era—be it in the past, present, or future. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on those meaningful moments in life.
Jung In Sun plays Ji Eun Oh, the embodiment of cheerful, radiant charm. Eun Oh is a bright character who dreams passionately and loves without regret, even in difficult circumstances. Although she stands at the center of many trials and secrets, Eun Oh navigates even the toughest days with strength and a positive spirit.
Explaining why she chose to star in the drama, Jung In Sun said, “I heard that writer So Hyun Kyung, whom I’ve always wanted to work with at least once, would be reuniting with director Kim Hyung Seok for the first time in a long while.”; She went on to add, “After hearing the writer’s explanation of the character Eun Oh, I felt an even stronger desire to join the project.”;
Jung In Sun revealed that she put a great deal of thought into portraying her character in her first long-form drama, describing Ji Eun Oh as “a proactive person who chooses to act rather than remain stuck in worry or sorrow”; and “someone who forges her own path in life, even if it is more difficult than a stable one.”;
Expressing her affection for the role, the actress said, “[Eun Oh] may seem to take the long way instead of choosing the easier path, but because her life is shaped entirely by her own choices, she feels a deep sense of fulfillment. That’s what makes her so appealing and, in many ways, similar to me.”;
Jung In Sun also spoke about her on-screen chemistry with co-star Jung Il Woo. She said, “We openly shared ideas about each other’s roles, exchanged advice, and tried out different approaches. Because of that, it felt like we were painting one picture together, and we were able to bring out much richer emotions.”;
Meanwhile, Jung In Sun selected “craftsperson,”; “love,”; and “voice”; as keywords to describe her character.
“Eun Oh is an interior designer who’s always ready to dive into work, a hands-on type of person,”; she explained.“Love is always at the core of Eun Oh’s character. Because she knows how to love herself, she can overcome hardships and, beyond that, she is a warm person who embraces others.”;
The actress continued, “I have a fairly low voice, and I thought that tone might suit the character of Ji Eun Oh, so I plan to portray her using my usual tone.”;
Finally, Jung In Sun said, “I’m working hard on filming the drama ‘Our Golden Days,’ which will be coming to viewers soon. I’m excited to share a story that’s warm and refreshing. I hope you’ll look forward to it and show lots of interest.”;
“Our Golden Days”; will premiere on August 9 at 8 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of “For Eagle Brothers.”;
