JOJO Siwa has sparked a huge social media backlash after making a major change – and her followers have put the blame firmly on Chris Hughes.

Since making their romance public following their time in the reality series, the pair have been and following their first Christmas together.
Yet after , switching from to her birth name, Joelle Siwa, some fans have reacted angrily.
They have partly pinned the blame on ITV Racing correspondent , after their bond flourished in the spy house.
Back on CBB, JoJo as she clarified her sexuality.
She confided in co-star Danny Beard and said: “I’ve realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer.”

Now a handful of followers believe the name switch could be another sign of this and one wrote on TikTok: “You guys are ignoring that she never wanted to be called Joelle until she started to date her boyfriend.
“It literally does go hand and hand. While yes, some people grow up and change their names on their own because they grew up, this was not that.
“This is literally for her straight relationship.”
Another posted of JoJo – who after her CBB stint: “It’s the fact that she represented a very large community or LGBTQ during a time where it was still fresh, and now there’s been nothing.
“It was sudden and unexpected, and again not that she owes anything to anyone, but it is also understanding that people who grew up with her would be a little discouraged.’
And on a video uploaded by one user, they wrote a caption which read: “Seeing JoJo Siwa / username is so sad for no reason.
“I’ve never liked her but I can’t imagine being one of the closeted gay kids who looked up to having someone like her being a gay icon.

JoJo was hit with trad wife suggestions after she dolled up as a housewife for her cover of track, Bette Davis Eyes.
After the trolling she told CNN: “It was basically a Halloween costume.
“People really thought I was changing everything — like, damn, it was a good wig! I don’t know where ‘trad wife’ came from.”
She added: “I will fight for the queer community until it’s over.
“It’s my people.“
“I think that people might be quick to forget — the way that I came out, the age that I came out.
“The next generation that saw me be okay and saw the world be okay and then all of a sudden the moms and dads of these kids were okay, because, yeah, ‘JoJo Siwa’s a good person’ — that changed so many lives.
“So what, I’m in love with a man? That doesn’t discredit my past at all.”
