HAVING captivated the nation with their surprise love story on Celebrity Big Brother, rumours have been rife about what JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes will do next.
Now, in an exclusive chat with us at The Sun’s HQ, former child star JoJo has confirmed plans to work with her “soulmate” Chris – sharing their next chapter with fans on-screen.
It follows early talks with ITV2 bosses about filming their own TV show.
But keen to keep the announcement secret – for now – when I ask her about it, JoJo laughs: “What are you talking about?
“You can’t say that too loudly in this building”, before adding with a smirk and a wink: “I think you should dig more into those rumours.”
The 22-year-old – who has been making new music ahead of an upcoming UK tour – found fame on Dance Moms aged nine, alongside her mother Jessalynn.
Talking about working with loved ones, JoJo said: “I worked with my mum my whole life, and so I understand navigating family dynamics with a work dynamic.
“You should never work with your partner unless you can do that.
“I think that me and Chris are… we met working, right? That’s how we met . And that’s how we got to know each other.
“And we also just, when you’re that designed to be with somebody, it doesn’t matter if you’re working.
“It doesn’t matter if you’re not working, and we have worked together, we work very well together, and we get along very well.
“I think for Chris, his closest friends are his managers. And so I think he also understands navigating friendships and work dynamics.
“Obviously he and I aren’t friends, so it’s a little different, but it is similar in a way.”
Prior to them entering the CBB house, no one would have ever thought they could work as a couple.
Indeed, when JoJo and Chris met on the ITV reality show, she was dating Australian content creator Kath Ebbs .
She had been introduced to 27-year-old Australian content creator Kath by a mutual friend called G-Flip six months earlier.
JoJo had split with her girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in November 2024 and it is believed she hooked up romantically with Kath soon after.
Kath claimed they had talked about marriage together before JoJo spent 19 days in the Celebrity Big Brother house with Chris.
But their relationship wasn’t to last – and JoJo dumped Kath at the show’s wrap party .
Having spent time with the pop star, she’s clearly madly in love with Chris.
I just really hope she proves the doubters wrong and they go the distance.
The demand is there from fans for a fly-on-the-wall reality show – judging by the fascination for the couple on social media .

So having been told by JoJo to dig into the rumours, I quickly obliged – and discovered fans might have to wait a while longer to see their favourite new couple reunited on-screen.
A TV source told me: “It’s right an idea for a series is on the table but right now nothing has been signed.
“Everyone involved hopes it will come into fruition soon but there are a few parts that need ironing out first.”
If you ask me, ITV should sign the duo up immediately.
Judging by my DMs over the past week there is clearly a LOT of people invested in their relationship… even if purely for their unlikely pairing.
