Lee, 29, was riding a motorbike cross-country while on vacation in Scotland.
His employer, Karl Burke, provided a health update after the accident.
He told the Racing Post: “Cliff has had a serious fall. He’s currently suspended and was on holiday in Scotland.
“He was riding a cross-country motorbike and wasn’t being reckless.
“He was reportedly going at less than ten miles an hour when the bike flipped over, causing him to land on his head.
“He’s in the hospital, and we are all thinking of him.”
Lee has had a remarkable season in 2025 and is close to achieving 100 winners in a single year for the first time.
He also celebrated riding his first Group One winner.
