Como manager Cesc Fabregas has showered praises on two Barcelona players – Pedri and Lamine Yamal – ahead of the Joan Gamper trophy clash on Sunday night.
Fabregas said he admires the pair, describing them as amazing and talented footballers.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder said (via Barca Universal): “Football needs players like Pedri.
“He is a player I really admire. Lamine Yamal is an amazing player.
“Football has become somewhat mechanical, so it is important to have players with such talent and magic.”
Fabregas was a former Barcelona player.
The retired Spanish footballer won several trophies including La Liga, Copa del Rey, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the Super Cup during his three-year spell at Barcelona.
