HOSTAGE beheader Jihadi John was killed by a British-led drone strike as he clutched a kebab, a mission chief has revealed.
The IS fighter was tracked by MI6 to a takeaway in 2015.

Top brass waited until a boy with him left the scene then called in the strike.
The Londoner, real name Mohammed Emwazi , had joined the terror group with three Britons, dubbed the IS Beatles , before executing at least 29 captives .
A military official said the mission in Raqqa was led by RAF and USAF drone specialists in Qatar , backed by spies in Syria .
They said: “We’d been monitoring Emwazi six weeks and identified a pattern in which he’d visit a building near his mosque.
“He’d arrive in a 4×4 and stay for 3-4 minutes.
“The team asked MI6 about the building and it came back that it was a kebab shop.
“One day he walked out of the kebab shop there and the boy ran off to play football. It was our chance.”
A drone launched a Hellfire missile but the boy returned, almost triggering the abort.
When he was blocked by cars the strike continued.
The official added: “Emwazi was evaporated, kebab in hand.”
Last week, terror pal El Shafee Elsheikh — Jihadi Ringo — applied to transfer from a US to UK jail, sparking fury from victims’ families.
