NOTHING beats a Jet2 holiday as they say, and now families flying with the airline can enjoy cheaper fares as it introduces a new policy.
The family-friendly rules means that children under two years old will travel with the airline for free – including both package holidays and seat-only flights.

While the Jet2 offer for free travel for children under two was already in place for families that booked a package holiday, it’s now included in seat-only flights too.
So whether you’ve got an all-inclusive holiday booked with Jet2, or are simply flying to a destination, the seat for children under two is completely free.
The new policy was introduced on August 22, 2025 and applies to all new bookings with Jet2 .
The main rule is that the child must be aged under two at the time of travel.
Another change that has come into play that will help families out is the allowance when it comes to children’s essentials.
You can now check up to two items of baby equipment, like car seats, travel cots and baby carriers, into the hold free of charge.
And there’s an additional 10kg of allowance added to the parents’ hold bag for the child’s essentials.
So parents can bring and check in anything they need without worrying about the weight limit.
Jet2 boss Steve Heapy said: “As a family friendly airline and tour operator, we are always looking at how we can make the experience even better for families travelling with us.”

He continued: “By putting our customers first and making these changes, meaning that all children under 2 now travel for free whether on a package holiday or a seat-only flight, we are making travel even more accessible for millions of families.”
For families who want to take advantage of the new rules, there are plenty of upcoming flights for next summer.
