JEFF STELLING has hinted he is set to host a new football show just three years after leaving Soccer Saturday.

The TV host, 71, helmed the iconic football results show for an incredible 29 years before .

Stelling’s voice became a staple of living rooms across the country on a Saturday afternoon.

He led a studio including , , Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson – and who could forget with his “unbelievable Jeff” catchphrase.

Stelling has since been working as a presenter on talkSport’s breakfast show for the last few years alongside .

But the veteran broadcaster has teased he’s got something else cooking after posting about a new project.

Stelling posted a video on X featuring what looked like an old-school broadcasting announcement with an image of a globe that transformed into a football.

A voiceover from Stelling appears saying: “Welcome to ‘s football shaped thoughts and feelings on football club owners of other football things.”

The graphic then says: “Coming soon.”

Stelling accompanied the clip with a caption that read: “Guess who is back behind a mahogany desk?

Fans were understandably delighted by the surprise news as they hailed his return to TV.

One said: “Yes Jeff! I hope it includes vidiprinter?”

Another replied: “Lets goooo… bring it on.”

A third said: “Don’t tease us like this… when can we expect you to grace our screens please?”

And a fourth added: “We are so back, a TV icon back on our screens.”

It comes after Stelling gave his Premier League predictions for the 2026-27 season as he backed to claim back-to-back title wins.
