Now, uploading a selection of clips to , two-time Premier League winner Hernandez goes deep into the psychology of Punch.
His video shows Punch being shoved away by bigger monkeys before dragging his orangutan to the corner and sleeping.
Punch snuggles up into the arms of the unwitting orangutan , who offers comfort and warmth.
Hernandez is overcome with emotion as he scrolls through the videos, with the caption: “Why are you crying? It’s just a monkey…”
He writes: “Punch Monkey moved us because he is strong and he is real.
“He tries to defend himself without fully knowing how, and we have all done this at some point.
“There is no malice in him only emotion, innocence, and a desire to exist.
