The doting parents have documented their first few weeks with their baby boy on social media, but Jamie’s latest post from over the Christmas period has come in for some unexpected backlash.

Taking to Instagram, , shared a video of Sophie getting things ready for their

Sophie, 31, looked great in a red top and black trousers as she spent time with Ziggy on the sofa before setting a beautiful dining table for 10 people, with a striking Christmas tree behind covered in red bows.

She was then seen at the kitchen counter as Jamie filmed her before captioning the footage: “POV: your wife is 3 weeks postpartum and still creates a magical Christmas.

The proud star then wrote in the caption: “She’s Superwoman” alongside a red love heart emoji.

While Jamie was full of admiration for his wife and clearly wanted to share his pride with his followers, some furious fans couldn’t help but have a go at him for it.

One wrote in the comments: “This is lovely but also let’s not normalise post partum women being ‘superwoman’ it’s not normal.”

Another clocked a man in the background in the kitchen and wrote: “No, you have someone there cooking the dinner… I love you and Sophie but don’t be lying, making us feel bad… You have help.”

A fellow follower commented: “This is super unrealistic and contributes to a problem that causes post-partum women to suffer.

“This should not be the priority at all and the suggestion or idea that it should be is part of the problem.

“Let the gal rest and snuggle with the baby, let her eat to her hearts content so she can raise a human that is nourished physically and emotionally.”

A fellow fan agreed, writing: “I normally love your content, but this is an insensitive post and sets an unrealistic expectation/pressure on other new mothers.

“Not everyone has the money, resources and support to be able to do this.”

But others defended the couple, with one writing: “Why is everyone so negative, Jamie is showing appreciation to his wife who’s obviously done amazingly after 3weeks of giving birth.

“That does not take anything away from any other mother who’s not doing these things.”

Another added: “Pretty sure Jamie is just showing love and appreciation for his wife, he didnt come to insult all other post partum mums its not that deep.”

The post comes after the with 24 hour baby care, massages and Michelin star chefs.

Tagging Tenth Wellness in a post from their luxury room at The Mandarin Hotel, the couple indulged in what is described online as the “UK’s leading postpartum wellness destination.”
