Her new bundle of joy arrived on the same day as a solar eclipse was visible over Scotland – the strongest celestial event of it’s kind in 27 years.
But for Jamie, the day was so much more special than anything happening in the sky.
And her new baby girl will always be able to share a birthday with the solar spectacular which happened in the skies over Scotland.
She took to Instagram to reveal her baby’s name to her 1.3m followers,
Jamie named her daughter Leonora – a name meaning light or shining one.
Sharing a picture on the social media site, she said: “Born under the eclipse, our girl Leonora.”
And her friends and followers were quick to congratulate Jamie and her husband Jack McCann on the birth.
One said: “Sending the hugest congratulations.
“Welcome to the world Leonora.”
Another replied: “Congratulations and such a beautiful name.”
A third commented: “Congratulations to your gorgeous growing family!! Beautiful name for a beautiful girlie.”
Jamie shot to fame after she went from working on a beauty counter at Debenhams in Glasgow when she started posting on Instagram and YouTube.
Now she considers Drew Barrymore as a celebrity client list and has built up her brand Vieve into a multi-million pound success.
Her makeup company, which opened its first standalone store in Glasgow, is valued at more than £20 million following the latest cash injection.
But despite her huge success, the beauty mogul remains very humble – and credits her Scottish roots for that.
