JAKE Quickenden has broken his silence on his shock split from Sophie Church.
The Sun revealed earlier this week how the former X Factor star and his long-time girlfriend had decided to call time on their romance.

The pair share two children together and with a heartwarming message about his children.
Jake shared a new Instagram post last night of him and his children which led to a fan to write a supportive comment in the wake of his love split.
They said: “Whatever is happening the kids have the best parents ever…dad and mum who love them so much!
“I hope things work out for the best! Positively you way!”

Jake acknowledged the comment and replied: “Appreciate that, they are all that matter.”

In a new post following the news, Jake has shared a sweet carousel of pictures featuring the two sons he shares with Sophie; Leo, 5, and 16-month-old Kit.
“My boys…. My world!!” wrote Jake alongside the pictures.
One snap showed Jake bundling up youngest Kit as they watched his stepson Freddie, who is Sophie’s son from a previous relationship, play a game of padel.
Also sharing her first post since the split was announced today, Sophie posted a carousel of pictures to her page.
Former star , who has also appeared on and , and Sophie are understood to have told their close friends and family about their decision to split.
“Jake and Sophie have but they remain incredibly amicable,” a source told The Sun this week.
“There is still a huge amount of love and respect between them.
“Their main priority has always been, and continues to be, their children, and they are fully committed to being the best parents possible.”
