JADON SANCHO has been training at 10th tier minnows Flixton FC – just a stone’s throw away from Manchester United’s training ground.
Sancho is now a free agent after his nightmare officially ended this summer, calling time on years of endless loan spells.

The 26-year-old winger, whom United splashed £73m on in 2021, has been using upgraded non-league facilities at Flixton’s 2,000-capacity Valley Road ground.
In a club interview, Sancho said: “You’ve got a nice layout here. It’s the first time I’ve seen a nice pitch [in this area] apart from United and City.”
Flixton are gearing up for their first competitive season since going bust in 2012, having been brought back from the dead by a new investor last year.
United legend ‘ estranged brother Rhodri Giggs, who previously managed Salford City, was appointed as Assistant Manager last summer.
The cash investment in the facilities comes after American financier Christopher Garcia, CEO of US based Wilshire Quinn Capital, purchased the club in February 2025.
Originally in 1995, Flixton’s Valley Road ground had been reduced to hosting Sunday League games before being slapped with a £500,000 price tag on Rightmove in January 2025.
While weighing up his next options, Sancho promised he’d be in the stands to watch Flixton play next Tuesday, just a 10 minute drive away from Carrington.
The London-born forward has drawn interest from club Al Rayyan and has been previously targeted by Roma in the Serie A.

Sancho spent the past three seasons on loan at , Chelsea and , achieving the remarkable feat of playing in a European final for all three – all in different competitions.
He won the with Villa but failed to reignite the consistency that once made him one of Europe’s most sought-after young players.
The former winger, who came through City and Watford’s youth ranks, played just 83 matches for United before his public row with former boss in 2023.
Villa have since signed ex-United star on a season-long loan from to fill the void on the left wing.
