I’M A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne had revealed camp life helped him manage his grief following the passing of his father Ozzy.

The Black Sabbath singer , at home with wife , 73, and his kids by his side, back in July.

Shortly after, reality TV star Jack signed up for – with fellow telly after his huge family loss.

as he spoke for the first time on I’m a Celebrity about his dad Ozzy’s sudden death earlier in the series.

Following his on Friday – which saw Jack and actress given the boot at the same time – he spoke out on how the show had proved helpful to his state of mind.

anchor Dec Donnelly, who arrived in camp to break the news alongside co-host Ant McPartlin, said: “Obviously you’ve had a difficult few months, you had an emotional time in there as well, was it really nice to have the support of your campmates going through that?”

Jack then said: “It was, it was really nice to unplug, just to have that space with no distraction from the outside world and to just be in nature.

“It’s hard in camp but also basic living.”

Jack admitted he was surprised he bonded so well with his co-stars, saying: “I went in with this blind and just went with the experience.”

OPENING UP

Earlier in the series, Jack opened up to campmate Lisa about his loss.

He told the soap star: “It was definitely a shock, I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn’t know it would be that quick…”

He added: “It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done.”

Jack then got teary, as Lisa comforted him – reflecting on his legend status and the impact he had.

Speaking about what Ozzy would think of him doing the show, he said: “He’d be so supportive of this.”

Jack later shared in the Bush Telegraph: “I’m still navigating it all, it’s been three nearly four months and so it’s still pretty fresh.”
