ITV HAS scrapped a massive part of The Voice auditions in a huge show shake-up – and has replaced it with a new “lockdown” twist.

It comes as the show gets ready to film next year’s series with a .

As well as the new faces on the judging panel, fans will be faced with a new auditions twist.

The new Lockdown Button is being introduced, and comes into play whenever an act receives a four-chair turn.

Coaches then get the power to push the new button so that they can automatically secure that act for their team.

This latest feature on The Voice means that the judges no longer pitch for their act, which would in turn see the singer then choose which team they wanted to join.

The new Lockdown Button replaces the Rewind Button that was introduced during the current series but will not return.

It comes as after it was revealed after 13 seasons as a coach.

Pop star from is set to take over Sir Tom’s chair for the next run in a huge overhaul for the talent show.

The legendary crooner first joined back in 2012 as one of the show’s first coaches.

Other judges on the show will include from ! and Kelly Rowland.
