ISRAEL has retrieved the remains of two additional hostages who were abducted during the attacks on October 7 and subsequently killed while in Hamas captivity.

Authorities have identified the deceased hostages as Amiram Cooper, aged 84, and Sahar Baruch, aged 25.

Hamas has now returned 15 of the 28 captives who lost their lives.

Israel has insisted that every single body be returned in order to fully conclude the conflict.

The IDF stated on X: “Two coffins containing the remains of deceased hostages, accompanied by IDF personnel, have recently crossed into the State of Israel and are en route to the National Institute for Forensic Medicine, where identification procedures will be conducted.

“IDF representatives are supporting the families during this time.

“The IDF urges the public to exercise sensitivity and await official identification, which will be communicated first to the families of the deceased hostages.”
