IPHONE’S new update will fix bugs that have been causing devices to lag.

A thread on the developer forums showed that the update solves a significant issue in data syncing.

Changes made on one device were not being automatically delivered to another in the usual, speedy fashion.

Apple services were also directly affected, like the shared passwords feature in the Apple Passwords app lagging and not translating properly to other devices.

One user wrote: “Make a change on the , nothing happens on the .”

Another user replied: “I am having this same problem and I just wasted an entire day on this.”

An Apple engineer responded to comments: “Thank you for reporting the issue, which does seem like a regression in iOS 26.4.

“Given the extensive impact of the issue, I’d suggest that you file a feedback report, if not yet, to attract more attention from the relevant engineering team.”

Other affected developers could do nothing but submit bug reports to Apple and wait for the company to operate a system fix, which the new update has done.

Countless bug reports were submitted and the developer forums were flooded with messages of complaints from people who wanted to know if anyone else was facing the same issue.

If you have noticed any data syncing issues with your Apple devices, it might be the same bug, try updating them to iOS 26.4.1.

You can update your phone by going to Settings, then clicking General, following it to Software Update and pressing the button to install 26.4.1.
