OWNERS of the new iPhone have claimed that their handset has mysteriously changed colour just weeks after launch.
made the bold decision to .

But a small number of buyers have taken to saying their mobile has changed from orange to pink.
DIGICELL posted a video claiming to show the device’s colour had strange pink blotches over it.
And another user on by the name of DakAttack316 has shared similar images with almost all of the iPhone apparently turned a “rose gold” colour.
The iPhone owner has responded to comments suggesting the bizarre change is fake.
“The phone has turned a more solid Rose Gold color, and I could not imagine a sadder existence than photoshopping IPhone pics,” they said.
“Thought about maybe going to the Apple Store and seeing if I can get an exchange since I wanted Orange, not a pink IPhone.”
If real, the pictures show almost all of the iPhone’s colour has changed except the Ceramic Shield in the middle with the Apple logo on it.
It’s not clear what might have caused the problem.
But an expert has suggested it could be due to UV damage or oxidisation.
“General wear and tear can be expected overtime, but such adverse changes within days of owning a brand-new model is alarming,” Lee Elliott, chief product officer at Compare and Recycle told the Daily Mail.
For now, reports of colour problems remain extremely limited.
Apple has not spoken out about the claims.
IPHONE 17 PRO: REVIEWED
The power packed into the iPhone 17 Pro is now so great that it’s arguably beyond what most people need.
And similarly, the base iPhone 17 is now so good that it’ll suit almost anyone.
So who is the iPhone 17 Pro for?
Obviously the first group are people with loads of money. If you want the poshest iPhone, this is your pick. The iPhone Air is what everyone is talking about, but the iPhone 17 Pro remains the champ.
The second group of people are tech enthusiasts who aren’t constrained by a budget. If you want all of the bleeding-edge Apple features, this is the phone for you.
Thirdly, people who need the absolutely best camera.
If you’re filming as a content creator, or you’re very serious about photography, or there’s some other reason why you need a pro-grade snapper, this is the winning pick.
Fourthly, storage. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is the only Apple smartphone with a 2TB option.
Again, most people don’t need that – or anywhere close to it. But some people filming very hi-res video will find this exceptionally useful. Apologies to your bank account, though.
