KATIE TAYLOR has worked hard to keep her private life exactly that, with fans only finding out she was married through her dad.
The 39-year-old has done most of her talking in the boxing ring, having most recently defended her undisputed super lightweight belts against Amanda Serrano.

It was during the build-up to that fight in July that fans got a hint as to her marital status when she wore what appeared to be a wedding ring at a weigh-in.
And during an appearance on the Anything Goes podcast with James English, her .
He said: “Ever since the fight there with Katie, people are seeing the two of us back together, even some of the s*** you hear about that.
“I was reading somewhere that Katie Taylor never got married because of her father, he wouldn’t let her.
“Katie’s married, you know, and I’m thinking, ‘where are you getting this s*** from?'”
Even with this blockbuster news, fans were still none the wiser as to what her hubby looked like.
That changed on Tuesday, when the first pics of the couple together emerged on social media.
And the Irish Independent is reporting that they got married earlier this year and that KT’s husband’s name is Sean/Shaun.
The Bray Bomber paid a visit to the Tiglin Men’s Centre in Ashford, north last Friday, where former substance addicts rebuild their lives.
She was accompanied by her husband, who has not been seen in public before – and so little is known about him that his name is not public either.
Also in tow were other members of the Bray boxer’s family.
At the centre, Katie gave a talk addressing the men who are undergoing the programme at Tiglin, reflecting on her own success and struggles.
She drew attention to the importance of “perseverance, discipline, and faith”, highlighting that residents at the centre should stay focused, work hard, and trust in God.
HELPING TO GIVE HOPE
Staff later said her message inspired residents and left a lasting impression on those trying to rebuild their lives after drug and alcohol addiction.
And it’s reported multiple residents said her speech gave them new hope in their recovery journey.
Head of the organisation Senator Aubrey McCarthy greeted the visitors and gave Katie a tour of the facilities.
He later took to social media to share the news.
‘POWERFUL MESSAGE’
Posting on X, he said: “Humbled to welcome the undisputed world champion @KatieTaylor and her husband & family to @TiglinIreland.
“Her quiet strength and powerful message uplifted everyone in the room. Katie reminded us that recovery, like boxing, demands courage, discipline & heart.
“Thank you for inspiring hope where it’s needed most.”
‘AMAZING PEOPLE’
In a video, the host went on: “So it’s Friday and I’m up in Tiglin men’s centre in the Wicklow mountains, and we have a special guest here today.
“We have the world champion boxer Katie Taylor and her family and her new husband.
“Amazing people, Katie shared with our guys, the guys who do the programme at Tiglin, an amazing story of resilience, hope, and about how you can conquer the world.
“So at Tiglin, we have people on a programme, and their job is to get their lives back in order.”
