ONE person has died in a major Earthquake which struck off the eastern coast of Indonesia on Thursday.
Locals were running into the streets in panic as the 7.4 magnitude tremor hit in the early morning hours.

Triggered from the Molucca Sea between the Sulawesi and Maluku island groups, the quake caused waves up to 2.5 ft high and prompted a tsunami warning.
A 70-year-old woman was killed when a building collapsed in Manado, the BBC reported.
The region’s search and rescue chief George Leo Mercy Randang said the victim was “buried under the rubble”.
Three more people suffered injuries.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the tremor hit at a shallow depth of 22 miles at 6.45am local time (22.48 GMT)
