SBS’s “The Haunted Palace”; has shared a sneak peek of the evolving dynamic between BTOB’s Yook Sungjae and WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon (Bona)!

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Gang Cheol (Yook Sungjae)’s expression betrays his nervousness as he gives Yeo Ri (Kim Ji Yeon) a piggyback ride. While carrying her on his back, Gang Cheol appears acutely aware of the close proximity between them—and because this is the first love of his 1000-year life, he can’t seem to hide the fact that his heart is racing.
The next stills show Gang Cheol and Yeo Ri gazing deeply into one another’s eyes. As he stares intently at Yeo Ri, the chilling, wicked look that was once present in his gaze seems to have vanished entirely. In its place, there is nothing but pure and sincere affection.
Meanwhile, Yeo Ri seems slightly flustered by Gang Cheol’s stare and the palpable romantic tension building between them.
