Akomas made this announcement during an event in Abuja on Thursday.

Akomas, who currently serves as the national chairman of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN), emphasized that the forum plays a crucial role in the nation-building process.

He expressed confidence that the country is on the right trajectory towards realizing its full potential for future generations.

“The forum is driven by a commitment to nation-building and development. We believe that Nigeria can achieve its best for our country and for generations to come,” he stated.

“Last year, our conference focused on economic issues. We developed suggestions and resolutions, and I am pleased to report that these resolutions have been implemented by this government,” he told reporters during an interview at the forum’s new secretariat in Abuja.

In his comments, Nigerian Senator and former governor and deputy governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wammako, remarked that the forum symbolizes unity and promotes good governance for the benefit of all Nigerians.

“It signifies unity for the country and ensures effective governance. What Nigeria needs are leaders who can unite for the nation’s interests to build a better Nigeria,” he noted.
