Former Corrie actor Craig said it was unfair how Adam was treated during the live final after he was ganged up on.
Craig shared his opinion today on his radio show The Craig Charles Funk and Soul.
He said: “There is the two issues, Adam posted a lovely post about how he loved being with Harry, Mo and me in the jungle.
“On the telly last night, he made a fulsome apology to Jimmy Bullard, there’s not much more the man can do.
“He’s put his hands up and said ‘I was out of order, I’m sorry, I really apologise’.
“And then what happened to Adam last night, our new jungle legend, that was bang out of order, that was bullying, it was bang out of order.
“I’ve never seen anyone so unhappy to win anything and my heart goes out to him.”
Craig advised Adam to keep his head held high and to ignore the backlash.
He also reiterated that he had sided with Adam, especially because of his close and long relationship with him and his family.
“So if you’re listening Adam, have a dance, forget about it, you’re a jungle legend, life moves on,” he continued.
“Sorry for your pain and your trouble and we go again.
“Love to Scott and Ryan as well.
“Remember, I’m a friend of the family, I’m a friend of your dad’s, I was at your dad’s funeral.
“Congratulations mate, you’ll come to enjoy it, you are a jungle legend.”

A source told us yesterday: “Proving that ’s behaviour was abusive, aggressive and intimidating is the key to Jimmy’s legal case against ITV because that behaviour is in breach of the contract.

“Insiders say it’s clear from his conduct that a case is being built and that the channel is braced for it after the way he monopolised his moment.”
It all kicked off during the I’m A Celeb final when hosts invited Jimmy to explain why he decided to exit a trial, which could have led to Adam’s elimination.
Jimmy said: “Adam and all of you can be upset with me. And I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it, I’ll wear that. But what I don’t stand for is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating. You didn’t show none of the C-bombs, that’s a liberty!”
He also pointed at campmates, saying: “Listen, let’s ask everyone.”
He then asked repeatedly: “Was it abusive and aggressive?”
Sinitta, 62, eventually stood up and said to the baying audience: “Enough, enough, I was there and it was aggressive and abusive.”
Ant claimed that the foul language had been “unbroadcastable”, and said he did not believe Adam had acted in an intimidating way.
