How many women and girls must suffer the horrors of rape or live in fear due to illegal immigrants before Sir Keir Starmer acknowledges the overwhelming public outrage?

The recent list of court cases is truly disturbing.

Worryingly, a growing number of unvetted young men are being convicted of sexual assaults in parks, outside nightclubs, and in other public areas.

What makes this situation even more unbearable is that soft-touch Britain has welcomed these individuals.

Our Government has provided them with food and expensive housing while turning a blind eye to the horrific crimes that have occurred.

Consider the two individuals in Leamington Spa, who, according to one defense solicitor, faced leniency in their sentencing.

One of the rapists' lawyers argued for a lighter sentence, claiming he was unfamiliar with a country where “women are free and considered equal to men.”

As The Sun reveals today, they are being encouraged to focus on their “self-esteem.”

Their case exemplifies a broken system, where political correctness and the legal rights of offenders take precedence over public safety.

Where the authorities have no clear understanding of who is in the country or what their backgrounds are.

Or where an individual questioned about their asylum claim can respond with “I don’t know” 158 times and still be allowed to remain.

And what is our Prime Minister doing in response?

He is sending our representatives to negotiate reforms to the ECHR.

Ironically, this may include allowing countries to implement Rwanda-style schemes.

What chance do Starmer and Hermer—two classic lawyers—have of negotiating a tough stance that truly benefits Britain?

And if any significant agreement were to be reached next Spring, another 15,000 would have arrived in Britain by then, given the current influx rate.

Labour must understand that if they do not resolve this crisis soon, voter anger will inevitably lead to their downfall.

Strike a Deal

There is absolutely no justification for junior doctors to proceed with next week’s strike.

The prevailing suspicion has been that the Marxist is not genuinely interested in improving conditions or training but rather in extracting as much funding from the system as possible.

The proposition of increasing training positions and prioritizing UK graduates seeking employment is more than reasonable.

Here’s the BMA’s opportunity to do the right thing for once… and accept the deal.
