IKEA insists that 2026 is the year we should start adding colour into our homes.

For years, the calm and clean home look has taken over Instagram feeds and Pinterest boards – from beige sofas, whitewash walls and grey wood.
But colour is now back as Ikea has quietly confirmed its colour of 2025 is Rebel Pink.
It’s a punchy, vibrant shade of pink that immediately captures your attention and can elevate any room.
The new colour, also coined as ‘Millennial pink’, was shared as part of the Swedish retailer’s announcement of their new range of home accessories for kids.
They are called GREJSIMOJS and the collection features a furry cover for the much-loved MAMMUT kid’s chair in the Rebel Pink colour.
In a post shared on Ikea US’ page, showed off the beautiful baby pink accessories.
It reads: “The IKEA color of the year is… Rebel pink!”.
“Yessss! A color I can get behind,” commented one. “An excellent colour,” insisted one other.
Another excited individual said: “Yessss! A color I can get behind.”
“Whoever did this needs a raise,” insisted another.
There are 95 baby pink products listed on Ikea UK’s website .
