A FLIGHT carrying Brits to Ibiza was forced to do a U-turn on the runway after a passenger had a drunken meltdown about turning his phone off.
The flight from to was delayed by two hours after the intoxicated traveller meant the plane had to stop on the runway.

Shocking video shows staff trying to calm the passenger, who refused to stop talking on the phone, causing drunken chaos.
Footage shows the man shouting as cabin crew try to calm him down.
But the man refuses to listen to instructions to turn his phone off.
The drunk passenger can be heard hitting the cabin and causing chaos.
Another passenger told the Majorca Daily Bulletin about the dramatic scene.
They said the troublemaker was already talking loudly on the phone and shouting when they boarded the 22.15 flight on Thursday night.
The traveller who reported the incident said: “We were boarding and already saw the young man making a scene, talking loudly on the phone, shouting, and everyone was watching him.”
The man then refused to turn off his phone when asked.
The witness said: “He kept using his phone, and then they reprimanded him.
“The plane had to stop, attendants approached him, he took off his seatbelt, until a fellow passenger told him enough was enough.”
They called the scene “chaotic” as the exchange between staff and the passenger escalated.
The man reportedly started banging on seats, terrifying travelling children.
When he would not calm down, the plane had to stop and reverse on the runway.
Officers from the local Guardia Civil then removed the man from the plane.
It comes just months after on a Ryanair flight.
The wild tussle left the flight from Krakow circling Airport on Tuesday, November 11 last year.
Dramatic footage showed the man onboard the flight flipping off a fellow passenger as he chuckles.
Cabin crew can be heard telling him, “sit down” and the man swears.
Eventually, the flight landed in Bristol where it was met by , who had to remove the passenger by force.
