The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja has declared that Mogajis (family heads) and Baales will be held responsible for any security breaches in their various domains henceforth.

Ladoja made this declaration at the weekend when he received scores of family heads and Baales at his Bodija residence.

The former Oyo State governor also enjoined traditional title holders in the ancient city to report anything that can cause security breach to law enforcement agents on time.

Ladoja in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan, Chief Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, insisted that Mogajis and Baales are the chief security officers in their various domains.

In the statement made available to DAILY POST on Sunday, he admonished the traditional title holders to be security conscious in their areas of jurisdiction.

Pledging his readiness to attract investors to the ancient city and other parts of the state, Ladoja stressed that he will not allow any form of security breaches that can discourage investors.

Ladoja said, “You are the Chief Security Officers in your domains and as such, you will be held responsible for any security lapse in your areas.

“You should have the knowledge of the happenings in your environment and if you have any security challenge beyond your control, contact us, we will rise up to the occasion and assist you immediately.”
