Urgent hunt for missing schoolgirl, 14, who vanished from historic town and may have travelled outside of county

AN URGENT hunt for a missing 14-year-old schoolgirl is underway after she vanished from a historic town.

Annie Stevens was reported missing from Maidstone, Kent yesterday, with fearing she may have travelled as far as by now.

police have described the young girl as white and of slim build with brown shoulder-length hair.

At the time she went missing, Annie was wearing a black fur coat and white trainers.

She has also been linked to areas including Paddock Wood, Marden, Sittingbourne and Ramsgate.

Police added that she also frequently uses the train network.

In a statement, they said: “Officers are seeking help to help locate a child missing from Maidstone.

“Annie Stevens is 14 and was reported missing on Wednesday 24 September 2025.”

They also said it is possible that Annie may have travelled outside of Kent, with police currently investigating potential connections to and as far as Scotland.
