NEW Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike risks a booking from cops by filming himself driving his £200,000 car.

Ekitike, who played at Anfield in the 1-0 top-of-the-table victory against Arsenal yesterday, posted the footage on Snapchat.

It is illegal to hold and use a mobile phone or any other device that can send and receive data while driving a car or motorbike.

The law still applies when drivers are stopped at lights or queuing in traffic.

Breaking the rules can result in six points on a licence and a £200 fine.

Highlight-haired Ekitike has been a hit with fans since moving from German club Eintracht Frankfurt.

He scored on his debut against Crystal Palace in the FA Community Shield.

And he then bagged two more goals against Bournemouth and Newcastle United.

He is not the first Premier League star to be caught out by videoing themselves while driving.

Manchester United ‘s Brazilian winger Antony recorded a clip while driving along a motorway.

And Italian former Everton forward Moise Kean also recorded himself driving at 50mph while laughing with fans.
