He bolted up in an admittedly weak race at Yarmouth last time out, but he has been found another good opening here and is still well-handicapped. The booking of championship leader Billy Loughnane only boosts his chances.
CLEMENTINES STAR (7.40 Chepstow, nb)
Never finished out of the frame in five starts and deservedly opened her account at Thirsk. She makes her handicap debut off a tempting mark and her stable is in great nick.
LORD RAGNAR (2.55 Newmarket, treble)
Improved with each start and was only caught on the line in a messy race last time. He is bred to relish to step up to a mile.
