ACTRESS Georgina Castle has shared what it was like to go on a ‘honeymoon’ with her parents while her new husband was absent.
The 33-year-old, known for her role as Sophie, left her groom behind in London as she traveled to a tropical paradise.

The stunning actress married fellow actor Simon Lipkin in a beautiful London ceremony back in September, which left many in awe.
However, Simon, who stars in Nativity Rocks, was unable to join her on their luxurious Maldives vacation as he is currently performing as Fagin in Oliver on the West End at the Gielgud Theatre.
While many women would hesitate to visit one of the most romantic destinations in the world without their new husband, this did not prevent Georgina from having a great time and enjoying a ‘honeymoon’ getaway.
Although it is believed that Georgina and Simon have their own private honeymoon planned, she accompanied her parents – tennis icon and former GMTV host Andrew, 62, and her mother Sophia – on her first vacation as a wife by joining them on their sun-drenched trip to the Maldives.
Georgina made the most of the spectacular getaway.
The photos showcased her enjoying various activities, including water sports, beach time while elegantly posing in a bikini, and snorkeling.
She also savored cocktails and shared plenty of laughter during an evening out with her parents – who both participated in Strictly Come Dancing – at a charming beach bar.
Additionally, there were numerous sightings of sharks and turtles.
The actress, who appeared in the musical adaptation of 50 First Dates this year, remarked: “I crashed my parents’ romantic holiday and went on a honeymoon without my husband!”
“I feel so incredibly fortunate to end the year like this & with family.”
In response to her post, one user commented: “What a fun family time.”
“Looks so lovely,” added another. One person referred to her as “the ultimate beach babe.”
Another praised the trip as “goals,” while another described the photographs as “wonderful.”
Nevertheless, Georgina is looking forward to a romantic escape with her husband. She expressed: “Simon, I can’t wait for us to do something amazing soon…with a few less sharks, you’ll be relieved to hear.”
The couple tied the knot on September 7 in an elegant ceremony in Westminster.
Georgina shared pictures on Instagram from the special day, including one of herself in a floor-length white lace strapless gown with a flowing train and veil. Simon donned a classic black tuxedo and white cravat.

Reflecting on the wedding, Georgina said: “There was something very special about getting married in the heart of the city that we love.”
“A sunset on the beach will always be beautiful, but sometimes there’s nothing more romantic than the neons of a tube sign, old brickwork arches, and the energy of London.”
She continued: “An evening filled with love, laughter, incredible music, memorable speeches, delicious cake, dancing, cocktails, more cake, and more music! Thank you to everyone who made it so special.”
Georgina and Simon fell in love after both performed in stage adaptations of the comedy film Elf, with the pair featuring in West End productions in 2022 and 2023.
Since then, Simon has also originated roles in Avenue Q and Rock of Ages, while Georgina has starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, Millennials, and 9 to 5 on the West End, alongside Amber Davies.
