HOLLYOAKS star Alfie Browne-Sykes has announced the happy news he and his fiancée have welcomed a baby boy.

Posting an adorable black-and-white snap of the newborn, he wrote: “Lucà William Browne-Sykes.

“7th June 2026. 5 lb 12 oz. 5:00am.”

After leaving the programme in 2016, Alfie struggled with anxiety and panic attacks as he felt the pressure of trying to land another acting job.

The keen boxer was hungry for roles with more intensity.

He landed a part in Tracy Beaker spin-off Dumping Ground in 2017 followed by a tour of Sebastian Faulks’ war drama Birdsong.

But when the work dried up Alfie’s mental issues began, and he “lost all sense of direction”.

Alfie is best known for his Hollyoaks body dysmorphia storyline, which shone a spotlight on the condition that sees sufferers have a distorted view of themselves.

Alfie was previously in a relationship with his co-star Amanda Clapham, who played Holly Cunningham in the soap.

The former couple
