After a brief hiatus, Holly has returned to her Instagram page to thank fans for their support and to share the meaningful “sign” she received from her sister.
This week, Holly posted a photo of a bouquet of flowers featuring a wooden butterfly attached.
“I asked Darci to show me butterflies last week, and this appeared,” she wrote alongside the image.
Holly also shared another story on her Instagram where she expressed her appreciation to fans and friends for their kindness.
“I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent flowers or food.
“I apologize for not having the time to respond to each of you.
“It’s incredibly overwhelming trying to figure out where to begin, but I truly appreciate all of you,” she added.
Since the passing of Holly’s sister, the MTV reality star has received an outpouring of support.
Her Geordie Shore co-stars rallied around her, and fans across the country sent messages of condolence.
Holly announced her sister’s passing last week through a touching tribute post on social media.
“It is with immense grief and sorrow that I share the loss of our baby girl, my sister, who was peacefully holding my hand surrounded by family and her best friend,” she wrote.
She later continued, “We are traumatized in every way possible.
“One day we will share Darci’s story. But for now, I kindly ask that you respect our privacy and allow us to process what has occurred.
“To the remarkable ambulance crew, and everyone at Manchester Royal Infirmary A&E and ICU, thank you so much for giving my sister the best chance possible.
“Thanks to you all, we had the opportunity to hold her hand, stroke her hair, and feel her heart beat for the last time.
“We will forever be grateful for how you cared for her and us throughout this unimaginable journey.”
In her post, she continued, “Darci was so beautiful, and she genuinely didn’t even realize it.
“I always told her she’d look better without the dramatic false lashes, but I was a hypocrite since I wore nine pairs at her age!
“She lived in her own world, forgetting to turn off lights, not knowing how to lock doors after coming home from a night out, leaving the freezer open so my mom would find a puddle of defrosted food.
“She was the best aunt, adored by her niece and nephew. She spent his entire birthday on the bouncy castle with AJ and Alba, and that’s a memory I will cherish forever.
“She wanted to pursue social work after discovering her passion for helping children. I know she’s looking after all the little ones up there.
“I’m not sure if I’m grieving in the way I expected to, but I genuinely feel she has given me so much strength and is watching over us all as our guardian angel.
“We love you so much, baby girl. Forever 19.”
Greater Manchester Police released a statement regarding the tragedy last week.
A spokesperson noted at the time: “On Sunday, 19 October 2025, we were alerted by hospital staff concerning the welfare of a 19-year-old woman who had fallen seriously ill after it is believed she had taken drugs.
“Sadly, the woman passed away in the hospital yesterday evening (20/10/2025).
“Our thoughts remain with her family during this challenging time. Investigations are ongoing.”
