Outspoken Plateau State clergyman, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has laid curses on whoever has a hand in deleting his Facebook account, which had over 500,000 followers over the weekend.

The fiery preacher had announced the deletion of his account shortly after he raised an alarm that he had been getting warnings and threats from some people who claimed to be loyalists of President Bola Tinubu over his persistence that there is Christian genocide in Plateau.

After his Facebook page was closed, Rev Dachomo also announced that he had moved to Instagram after an American podcaster, Ryan Miller, helped him set up an Instagram account on Saturday, which quickly garnered over 4,500 followers within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, there were a plethora of pseudo accounts opened on Facebook with names like ‘Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo’, ‘The Real Dachomo’, ‘Ezekiel Dachimo’, among others, with some using his photographs and those of his family members to claim authenticity.

On Monday morning, Rev. Dachomo himself came out to disclaim the accounts, saying over 10 accounts had been opened by the same people who had closed his accounts to defraud innocent Nigerians and his followers.

In a video shared by journalist Masara Kim Usman, Rev. Dachomo said: “I am not on Facebook. Nobody should communicate with anyone who created an account in my name. I am now on Instagram.

“It has just come to my notice that over 10 Facebook accounts have been opened in my name, either using my family pictures or different styles of my pictures. Let me tell you, these are scammers.

“They know that my Facebook account has been closed. I don’t have a Facebook account again. Facebook has told us they are working on it, and we have done everything that we need to do to restore the Facebook account.

“And let me tell you, the scheming in Nigeria, 419 is working very strongly, fraudulent people, even some Yahoo Boys can go to any length to scam people, or even some people who have an interest in killing the issue of genocide, that there is no genocide of Christians in Nigeria.

“They can even pay 50, 100, or even 1,000 people to report my Facebook account. I know that Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria can go to any extent to any length, even paying the media to make sure that my Facebook account is locked because they know Trump is coming and they will see hell when Trump comes.

“So they will do whatever it takes to lock me down. But heaven will lock you down. When heaven locks you down, there is no hole, there is no mountain, there is no creek that you will enter; you will be hunted down by angels that are hunters. For that, I’m begging you, close those accounts.”

However, a few hours later, Usman made another shocking disclosure that the new Instagram account had also been closed.

“Again, Rev. Dachomo’s new Instagram page, boasting over 4,500 followers within 24 hours of creation by American podcaster, Ryan Miller, has been shut down. Real terrorists on rampage! But we’ll get you I promise.’
