“My dream would be to win the World Cup, and as a striker, I hope to help the team with as many goals as possible.”

Throughout the magazine, Kane answered questions from young readers, revealing his go-to breakfast before a big match and his favourite sport other than football.

He even dedicated a segment to speaking about mental health and encouraged young people to open up if they are struggling.

In an excerpt, he said: “I launched the Harry Kane Foundation because I wanted to help transform a generation’s thinking about mental health.

“I’m not an expert on the subject, but I wanted to use my platform to work with some amazing charities to hopefully encourage people to look after their mental health, be their best and not be afraid to ask for help.

“As an athlete, I know how important mental health is to my performance and overall wellbeing.

“We all have mental health, and we should look after our mental health in the same way we look after our physical health.

“I’ve got four kids now, so I know how important it is to educate and support the younger generation.”

Kane will captain England at the World Cup this summer as the Three Lions look to end their 60-year wait for the crown.

England face Croatia, Ghana and Panama in the group stage, with their first game on June 17.
