Han Suk Kyu has been confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN drama “The Boss Shin Project”;; (literal title)!
“The Boss Shin Project”;; is a comedy that follows the story of Shin, a man who takes it upon himself to mediate conflicts and assist people in seemingly unwinnable situations. The drama will be helmed by director Shin Kyung Soo, known for hits like “Tree With Deep Roots,”;; “Six Flying Dragons,”;; and “The First Responders.”;; The script is penned by Ban Ki Ri of tvN’s “Missing: The Other Side.”;;
Han Suk Kyu will play the titular character Shin, a chicken restaurant owner. Known for his cheerful personality, sophisticated style, and sharp wit, Shin always shows up to mediate whenever a dispute arises in the neighborhood. He possesses boldness, eloquence, and a daring nature that are not typically expected from an ordinary chicken shop owner, raising questions about his true identity. Bae Hyeon Seong was previously to be in talks to play the role of an intern at Shin’s restaurant.
