A horse ambulance arrived quickly before a barrier was put up for privacy.
Jax Junior was then able to walk onto the ambulance.
He is now back at the stables, where he is being assessed further.
ITV Racing presenter Ed Chamberlin later offered an update on his condition.
He said: “The latest on Jax Junior. He actually walked onto the horse ambulance and is being taken back to the stables for further assessment.
“Any more news, we’ll let you know.”
