GRAND Designs made a return to TV last night with a house which has been branded the “biggest pile of s*** in the show's history”.
The Channel 4 show, fronted by Kevin McCloud , made a return for its 26th series, but with a house that has been branded as “absolutely hideous”.

The boathouse has been described as the ‘worst ever' to be seen on TV In the episode, Kevin headed to Worthing, West Sussex to spend time with an architect and his interior designer wife, Sarah.
The couple had spent £465,000 on a pad they described as “radical” with it being a floating home at the side of many other traditional ships.
The boat-inspired property sat atop a prefabricated, polystyrene slab which allowed it to rise and fall with the tide of the water.
But the end result left little to be desired with many viewers insisting it was the worst house to ever be featured in the entire run of the programme.
Taking aim at the property, one disgusted viewer blasted: “Well, just watched new Grand Designs , that is the biggest pile s*** in the show's history.”
Another added: “Could this be the ugliest home ever onGrand Designs? I think so.”
A third echoed: “Couple with more money than sense build hideous ostentatious pile of s*** among perfectly sweet boat community. Like building Buckingham Palace in the middle of a row of terraced cottages.”
A fourth then posted: “Most of the time houses onGrand Designslook decent once finished…this isn’t one of those times.”
Whilst a fifth jumped in to add: “This could be one of the ugliest and most hideous ever. Interior designer, you’re having a laugh.”
The pair originally had a budget of £385,000 with the intention of transforming the boathouse in 18 months but they ended up going over by both budget and time.
All in all, the project took a total of three years to complete.
Speaking after the project was completed, Sarah said:“We've both given everything to this for three years.
“That feeling where you're working towards a common goal is intoxicating.”
