Asorta James, Special Assistant to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia on social media, has ridiculed former state governor Samuel Ortom regarding the incident that took place at the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ortom, who is affiliated with the PDP faction loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, was expelled from a Stakeholders meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday.

A viral video captured the Tanimu Turaki-led faction instructing Ortom to leave the hall.

In response, Asorta took to his Facebook page to label the incident as disgraceful.

He stated, “WHAT A DISGRACE TO FORMER GOV. ORTOM”

“The manner in which Samuel Ortom was ejected from the PDP national secretariat by party supporters was shameful. Is this how far it has come? TYOTOM!”
