And Sherry even has a connection with former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, spending 10 years working as her cook at 10 Downing Street.

The new additions come after a wave of changes on the show – with after emigrating to Australia, with pal Jake being joined by longtime friend Louis instead.

– mother/son duo Sandy and Max, and brothers Steve and Mark – made their debut this series as well.

“We are both very positive people and it is great to be doing something completely new together.”

“I am looking forward to the completely new experience at this stage of my life,” added Jude. “A challenge definitely, but an exciting one.”

While Sherry says she loves a classic drama series as well as game shows, Jude admits there’s one TV show that gets them both squabbling – B

“We don’t bicker, we’re not married to each other! Amandaland , Ab Fab and Michael McIntyre all make us laugh,” she added.

“Joanna Lumley in her humorous roles is hysterical. We do find programmes on any of the royals good viewing with many opinions shouted at the screen.”

“Jude and I have remained good friends because we like & laugh at the same things, we can share stories about our children & grandchildren, and we both have interesting lives,” said Sherry.

“We know each other inside out,” added Jude. “Both love pink and green. Both love people, travel, and cooking. Both are extremely likely to say exactly what we are thinking!

“And we are grabbing life with both hands. Our age is only a number.”
