A SUSPECT has been apprehended following an incident in which a woman reportedly had a dangerous liquid thrown on her.
The alleged event took place on Buchanan Street in Glasgow.
A 51-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Chief Inspector Stephen McManus stated: “We recognize that this was a concerning incident and appreciate the public's support.”

Police have cordoned off the upper section of Buchanan Street.
The entrance of the shop appears to have been damaged.
A barrier has been erected inside the shop near the entrance.
Empty water bottles and rolls of paper were observed scattered on the floor.
There also seem to be splashes of liquid further up the street.
Officers were seen collecting rolls of paper and other items before loading them into a police vehicle.
Another officer was spotted retrieving a box and a first aid kit from the shop.
Shop staff are continuing their work in the background while police manage the situation.
Members of the public have been directed to a nearby store on Sauchiehall Street after inquiring with officers about access to the Sainsbury's on Buchanan Street.
