KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke”;; has unveiled new posters featuring Seohyun and Taecyeon!
“The First Night With the Duke”;; is a romance fantasy that tells the story of an ordinary college student whose soul becomes transferred into a minor character of a romance novel and spends the night with the obsessive male lead.
In the newly released poster, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun) perfectly captures the excitement of a college student stepping into a minor role from a novel. Dressed in a light pink skirt and a sky-blue jeogori (traditional Korean garment), she holds a telescope as if exploring the world of the story. Her curious expression and playful smile hint at her eager anticipation.
Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon) stands out in a dark robe and gat (traditional Korean hat), exuding a powerful presence. His sharp gaze and firm grip on his sword convey unwavering determination, while the calm setting adds a sense of cold tension. Despite his frosty demeanor, Yi Beon’s bold, no-holds-barred approach to love adds an intriguing twist to his character.
The character posters tease the drama ahead, showcasing Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon, whose romance begins after their first night together. The two are set to challenge fate and shake up their relationship, leaving viewers eager to see how their romance unfolds.
The production team said, “Pay attention to the story and emotional journey created by the unique pairing of K, a real-life college student embodying a minor character, and Yi Beon, the obsessive hero from the novel.”;; They added, “Seohyun and Taecyeon’s delightful chemistry will make the romance between the two characters even more engaging.”;;
