A PREGNANT WOMAN accused of intentionally causing her boyfriend's death in a car accident delivered a chilling 10-word statement before crashing into a tree.
Daniel Waterman, 22, awoke from a coma to allege that his partner, Leigha Mumby, 24, was responsible before he ultimately passed away.

Upon his unexpected awakening, Waterman stated he was a passenger in the car driven by Mumby in Florida during Super Bowl weekend in February.
He accused her of intentionally driving headfirst into a tree, resulting in severe injuries including broken bones, spinal damage, and collapsed lungs, according to his mother who spoke to Syracuse.com.
Waterman even reported that Mumby made a disturbing remark just moments before she accelerated to 90mph off the road, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by People.
He recalled Mumby stating: “I don’t care what happens. You’ll get what you deserve.”
The exact motivation behind her haunting words remains uncertain following Waterman’s death.
At the time, Mumby was pregnant with his child.
The couple may have been in an argument after Waterman received a text message from a woman in New York, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol.
Waterman attempted to escape the car following the argument but was unable to do so before they collided with a tree.
Mumby was arrested in July and charged with reckless driving, causing serious bodily injury, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
She pleaded not guilty.
However, her charges have since been elevated following Waterman’s death.
She is now facing charges of vehicular homicide and has been booked into the Flagler County Jail.
John Hager, the attorney for Waterman’s family, stated: “This was not an accident.
“Evidence indicated that she did not apply the brakes – the vehicle was accelerating at the moment of impact.”
Waterman’s family characterized the crash as “an act of violence,” noting that Daniel fought bravely for eight months.
A GoFundMe page established for him stated: “There was not a day that went by without him expressing his desire to come home. Eight long months of suffering.
“Daniel was an eager, soon-to-be father of a baby girl,” the GoFundMe read. “He wanted nothing more than to return to her and to the family that loved him so dearly.”
