A TODDLER has been rushed to hospital after falling from a window of a building.
Emergency services were called to the Etherley Moor area of Bishop Auckland in Country Durham at around 8.50am on Tuesday.
An air ambulance landed near the scene, while police cars and ambulances were spotted in the area.
Durham police said the incident is currently being treated as an accident.
The two-year-old sustained minor injuries and is being treated in hospital.
A spokesperson said: “We were called to an address in the Etherley Moor area of Bishop Auckland, shortly before 9am on Tuesday, June 16, following reports a child had fallen from a window.
“A two-year-old girl was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
“Officers have carried out enquiries, and this is being treated as an accident.”
